Kelly Erez To Release Debut Album via Definition Music

Kelly Erez Announces Her Debut Album

R&B Soul artist ‘puts the Soul back in to R&B’

Fans put at the heart of the album

London, United Kingdom; 22nd April 2012 for immediate release: UK emerging R&B/Soul singer Kelly Erez announces that her debut album will be available in the Autumn/Fall through independent, Definition Music. The album will be available at all major download stores and on CD via Amazon.

The album comes on the back of a year of critical acclaim and a growing fanbase online with over 80,000 fans joining the cause. With much support to date from BBC Radio 1Xtra, BBC 6 Music, BBC GLR, the core R&B press and online blogs, the announcement of the album was first made directly to Kelly’s fans after cumulative views of her videos on YouTube surpassed 230,000; quite an amazing number considering it’s all organic and Kelly does not have a glossy promo video.

Fans of Kelly Erez will be at the heart of the album. Kelly herself will be asking fans, via her social networks and mailing list, to help influence the making of the record. From naming it, voting on photos to competitions to win the opportunity to attend the video shoots, recording sessions and the final album cut.

The album, which is already written is being produced by Natalie Erez and mixed by Ian Carter who’s recent credits include mixing the Mercury Prize Nominated album ‘Peanut Butter Blues & Melancholy Jam’ by Ghostpoet.

The album will be a slice of the type of R&B/Soul that many have been waiting for. Blues and Soul Magazine said that ‘Kelly Erez is putting the Soul back into R&B’ and this style and theme will be evident throughout the album.
